The Logistics Officer Association (LOA) 2025 Symposium in Oklahoma City can no longer take place on March 18-21, 2025. This decision results from a recent U.S. Air Force memorandum, dated 2 Mar 2025, "Interim Guidance for Executive Order 14222, 'Implementing the President's 'Department of Government Efficiency' Cost Efficiency Initiative," which has halted all non-essential military travel. This travel restriction significantly compromises the Symposium's objectives, as it relies heavily on military participation.
The LOA organizers and their Air Force counterparts are exploring possibilities for rescheduling this training symposium and will provide updates as they become available. All attendees are advised to cancel their hotel reservations for the week of March 18-21, 2025. Attendee registration / meal fees for the Symposium will be refunded. We are deeply disappointed that the Symposium cannot occur in March.
ACTION REQUIRED: If you booked hotel rooms for March, you must call the hotel directly and cancel your room reservation(s) as soon as possible.
